K-20 started

Just thought i'd post some pics of my K-20 as it goes under the knife. Just started tearing her apart. I plan to find a 2wd truck with a decent body and motor and swap it all over.

Oh, and Randy, the first thing i ripped off was our friendly "head knocker" I walked right into one of those things and decided that would be a great place to start.

The PO had put on some heavy duty back bumper brackets that were 1/2 inch steel straps that, when the bumper was removed, stuck out about 6-8 inches below the back of the truck. Randy (teeitup) said that he hit his head on them, and then i walked right into them when i had the truck on the lift.

Exactly the same place I was on my latest K20 swap about six months ago. Body swapped now and almost ready for paint. Let me know if you have any questions since it is fresh in my mind being just a few months ahead of you. I have several K20s that I have already restored and done body swaps on.

Good luck on your project!!
