shuts off when put in drive
hey guys ive finaly got some time to get back to work on my 79 k10 its been sitting for nine months and i finaly got it running today it starts perty good and idles fine in park until you pull it into gear then it stumbles and shuts off any ideas what it could be its almost like it gets a big vaccume leak when it cuts off any of yall experanced this problem??? btw it has a 400/th350?/4.11 gears

will she stay running if you give her some gas? also how old is the fuel? you would be amazed at what freash fuel can do

the fuel is about nine months old it has less than a 1/4 tank i think il go get some ethonol free fuel from down the road and try that with some sea foam or somthing of that nature. it will run if you give it some gas but it runs realy rough

i would try fresh fuel first then see what she does. run a good amount of carb cleaner type of stuff too
