Working like a slave!!! LOL

So I thought I would share:

Wife and I decided to sell the house. 3 weeks ago we put it on the market and as it is a small farm I figured for sure it would be on the market for at least a couple months. So I took my time working on Project Heaven.

When I put the house on the market, Project Heaven was sitting on jackstands no suspension at all. Just a cab and drivetrain (minus rear axle) sitting on jackstands.

Work that needs completing:

- 2.5" drop spindles needing paint and install
- 1" front lower springs needing paint and install
- Rear Axle needing paint and disc brake conversion completed
Rear frame crossmembers removed, the one above the trackbar was in the wrong spot and the furthest one back was completely missing. Had some from a frame that I parted that needed paint and installed in the right location.
- Rear frame mounted fuel cell needed mounting and fuel lines run to it.
- Oh yeah and the carb was gummed up and the truck wouldnt run...

That was the condition that it sat in on Saturday.

On Monday we went under contract on my house (a total of three weeks on the market)

So Monday the work started, I have the spindles painted and going to install them today, brake backing plates one is painted, one is being prepped for paint. The furthest back crossmember is under paint and will get installed this evening. The carb was rebuilt and now the motor runs.

Needless to say I am tired of prepping and painting parts but it will be driving by Friday. I am going to mount the bed and drive it up on my trailer and move it to a storage unit in the town where I am moving....

Sounds like Murphys Law worked in your favor. Your house sold and you are pushing your build ahead quite a bit.

Yeah, Dang Murphys Law... This time it just sucks though because I feel like I am going to miss something because I am having to rush to get her on her own feet again!
