Hi guys!

I have the engine no.10066036!

Now i want to order some parts at summit!

The question is...is it a small block generation I or Chevy small block Gen II (LT-based engines)!?

Re: Engine Nr...gm target master 10066036

The engine is a 1st gen small block. as long as the heads have not been changed to vortec or tbi heads. Are they perimeter bolt valve covers or center bolt? as long as they are perimeter style valve covers all early sbc parts will bolt onto it. The other heads on that block will require different intakes as they use specific bolt angles and configurations. hope this helps

A quick search on google was not much help, appears they could be either, although most discussion leaned towards gen 1. What is the date code, which side is the dip stick on? If it has heads on it what are they? Do you know if it's one or two piece rear main?

The date code is 93! The dipstick is und the passenger side! I have mounted edelbrock zylinderhead covers. This are stock covers from a small block!
