How hard is it to adapt a suburban bumper to fit a pickup. I found a great deal on an original bumper for a suburban, but noticed the frame is a little different than a pickup. Looks like it wouldn't be too difficult to fabricate. Anyone done this?

It only requires the inner truck bumper brackets for the sport style rear bumper. The burbs rear frame rail ends curl around & the bumper is bolted directly to the frame. Since the trucks frame rails are cut square they require a bracket that attaches to the inside of the frame rail & has the curve in the bracket that aligns w/the factory holes in the bumper.

I can prob get you the P/N for the brackets or you can order a pair from Chevy Duty (that's where I got mine).
