Questions

We do most of our stuff on the 67-72 trucks but have a couple of questions for you guys. What was the first year for (1) crew cabs (2) c20 & c30 with 4x4 with 454 (3) single rear wheel on c30
Thanks much Paul

Re: Questions

1) i think 73

2)i think 78, but should verify. BTW it would K-20, K-30, not c-20, c-30 if 4 wheel drive.

3) 73, but if you mean c-30, then if c-30 existed before 73, which i think it did, then whenever the first c-30 came out because dual wheels did not come about until 73, i'm pretty sure.

454s were not made available from the factory on the K-series until 1981.

Re: Questions

C30s have been around since long before 73 but 73 is when they came out with the c30 equipped with an 8ft bed before then the shortest factory 1 ton was 133in wheel base the only single wheel c30 before 73 and I'm not 100% sure on this I think they made a 1 ton long horn model 78 was the first year 4x4 was available on 1tons from the factory period and I don't think it was available on models with dual rear wheels
