does your truck coem close to bottoming out in the notch right now?

because if no, how are you going to put an air bag on the leaf and make it come down? the only way to do that is removing leaves to make the truck sag. that isnt the right way to do it.

your tryin to get your truck to lower itself more, how much lower do you need to get in the notch?

Seriously? Normally you give pretty good advice. You missed the target on this one all together.

Yes, if you run the two top leafs you will bottom on the notch just about the same time the pumpkin hits the bed floor. I suggest a small button style bumpstop inside the notch to keep the axle from bottoming out and save cutting your bed floor.

You might play with adding blocks as well. On my 77 we added blocks to allow me to run more bag pressure for a smoother ride.

I knew i could count on you N2TRUX! It's an 83 by the way. So i need to keep the 2 longest leafs on each side, right?

Re: Aol ?

Thats what we did Madfish. We ran the top two leafs and it worked just fine.

Re: Aol ?

I used a 1 inch block on mine and it helped with some extra room for bags and brackets
