Easy now, I only kidding and exaggerating. But if there aren't pics, it didn't happen :-)

I tried it since we already have some of these. While it does clean, it does not polish the grille. You need to strip the anodizing off, if you do not you will never polish it to where it shines.

If it still has it's original Anodizing and is old and dull, it won't make it look like brand new, but it sure can make it look a lot better.
I clean Moldings with it all the time. Results will vary, but sometimes the results are pretty impressive. Bill

I definitely cleaned my grille, but no different from a sponge for me.

Magic eraser is an abrasive, it does clean and polish. Its great for removing water spots from bare aluminum. I wouldn't use them on anything with a show finish.

Tried some magic eraser on my chromed rims, with marginal results. Think I'll stick to foil & buffing compound for those troublesome spots.

Re: I used one of those magic eraser sponges to shine my grill. Worked well!
Here's the after pic once I used the Magic Eraser.
Here's a final after pic, after I used some Nevr-Dull metal shiner My verdict: the Magic Eraser works well for a quick touch up. It must contain some sort of abrasive compound, that helps to remove some of the things that washing with soap and water doesn't. Never- Dull metal shiner works better, however, and is almost as easy to use. If you have a magic eraser lying around in the kitchen as I did, it's a quick way to shine things up.
