different cab vin than frame vin

Does anybody know if its a big issue my title matches the vin on the cab.

I'd say of the 3 places for the VIN, the riveted cab plate is the most important. Glovebox doors can be swapped and don't really matter - they're just bolted on. Frame VIN (and not cab VIN) not being on the title will help you make your case to DMV and/or State Police (depending on how it works in PA) - because they will want to know why the cab VIN is incorrect (compared to the title). Put it this way, if it were reversed and your title matched the cab VIN and not the frame VIN, nobody would really care... Sorry, probably not what you wanted to hear. Recommend contact DMV and see where they refer you (probably to the police - to do a check on the VIN - check that it wasn't stolen (either the frame OR the cab) and then just give you some direction from there. Possibly issue a new VIN (CA would do this in some cases).

Bottom line - my 2 cents only - but riveted cab VIN is most important and usually trumps the others. Frame VIN will come in very handy in making your case. Don't mean to scare you - it can be worked out, just a little more "splainin' for you to do Lucy"....

Called the DMV and as ling as its the same number its good. Don't matter if its destroyed either hahaha
