Sway bars

I have a chance to end up with front and rear sway bars off a 94 Caprice police car....complete with brackets. I am hoping that they will fit my 71 Cheyenne. Does anyone know if this will work? The rear ends on the caprices are 12 bolt with coils and trailing arms.

I'm not sure about this, but a friend of mine that has an old police car says that all the 9C1 (Police Option) owners and Chevy IROC owners look for 79 Firebird swaybars, and IROCs are the ones that people said on here that bolt on to our trucks. I'd say that the rear fits, but I don't know about the front. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

just get a bar off of a truck it will be cheaper and easier in the long run these bars are different than most because of the way the bends are and how they connect to the control arms

Cableguy is right for the front ones, I got a 1 1/4" one from a salvage yard (see my other post "Look what I found at the yard today") with brackets and everything for only $20!
