X2, our trucks going 140?, then 150 is a completely different ball game, totally different then 140, because theres this line of speed that changes the things around you so much. but i dont think anyones gonna try it unless they go to salt flats utah and set the record for fastest square body trucks with OUT use of a jet engine in the back. the way technology is looking we might just see this happen

Re: Isn't this cool or what!

I did the irroc tach and fuel gauge a while ago. The tach works well but when you shut it off it flicks clock wise and when starts back up it gets stuck still you floor it to 5k + then it flips back and works fine. I hear this Is a common problem with the irroc tach. Just telling joy.

Haha well being lowered and the entire suspension rebuilt minus shocks it felt good at that speed but I for sure don't think that 140 or more is very plausible in these bricks. Besides retirement is boring lol

Re: Isn't this cool or what!

Well if you look closely the clock has an iroc needle for the second hand lol. But the pic was with the dash lights in during the day. Painting the backings white really helped the brightness

Re: Isn't this cool or what!

Don't think anyone has had factory mechanicle tachs since the early 70s
But you dash has to have the provision for the clock inside. I bought mine NOS in the box last year for $50. All it has is a plug on the back seperate from the circuit board. Power and ground is all.
