Which bolt goes where??

Pulled the 305 out of my 85 to regasket it, put in a cam etc.

I neatly bagged up all my bolts, labeled them etc. Just like I should.

But.....

I can not for the life of me remember which bolts go where on the exhaust manifolds. There are 3 different lengths and some of them are threaded for a nut, obviously for the AC or power steering or Alternator.

I still have all the heat sheilding etc.

Does anyone have a manual they can look up, or point me to one on-line?

If it has the log A/C (don't know based on year) the studed one should be the first bolt on the drivers side, and there would be a longer bolt in the second hole on the drivers side that goes on a bracket that the first hole goes on. The rest should be the same. (it was in my case).

Re: Which bolt goes where??

I would give you some pics, but, uh, I have mine on a stand too

When I pulled it a few years ago, I could't remember either. Folks provided good info, but I ended up going to a junk yard and rumaging around til I found an engine setup like mine and took pics of the thing. Got back home and did the slap on the forehead thing...
