v8 and 6cyl driveshaft length

Is there any difference in length?

Yes, the V8 smallblock vs the inline 6 (assuming same trans), will be 3 1/2" different in lenght. That is pluss or minus 1/8", & figured on original factory mounting points. It is best to do your own measure, do to the age of the truck.....you have to be sure that it has not been swapped before, with missmatched parts crazyl

As said, you need to do the measure....check with your local driveline shop, so you get it right on I remember ,1 time I cut a 2x4, 3 times....and it was still too short? Could not weld that back together crazyL

Got under and measured 79.5 so I was just wondering what a stock v8 manual trucks drive shaft was
