Dome light
I've got a 99 suburban that the dome light will not come on when any of the doors are opened. The lights will turn on with the rotary dial on the headlight switch. The "Key in ignition" chime goes on when the drivers door is opened with key in. Is there some kind of relay or something I should look for??

Re: Dome light
I don't think so, but I certainly will check that out. Thanks.

Re: Dome light
That should be an obs. There is a dome override switch on the headlight switch.

Re: Dome light
If it's a 99-06 it has a button that says "dome override" right by the headlight switch. It's also how you switch from auto to manual headlights.

Re: Dome light
Well I feel a little dumb now. I've been driving this sub for 3 years and never knew I had an override buton. That did the trick. Thanks everyone for the info and quick answer!!
