sold my '86 Squarebody, now into a '66

sold this

loved this truck, it was beautiful, an older frame off restoration, 4 speed with granny gear etc etc.

now I love older cars and trucks and i had my heart set on this for a while when i saw it several months back and never thought i would have found out it was still for sale. so i sold the '86 ONLY to buy this truck, no other reason, because i really did love that '86 it was spotless! sold it to a man up in Massachusetts he drove 6 hours for it, and he knew it was worth it, you can't find these trucks this clean very easily these days. arguably the most popular body style.

well here's the new truck, drove 600 miles up to new jersey from north carolina and didn't miss a beat! original 327 and 3 on the tree. the paint quality sucks. its driver quality but it sure doesn't show in these pictures!

Both trucks are awesome. I have a 84 4x4 that I love and drive all winter. I sold my Dodge Magnum so I could get my 66 and have not regretted it one second. I did love the Magnum but I wanted the truck more. Yours looks great and should be fun.

That is crazy! I live like 2 minutes away from the dealer you bought that truck from! I looked at that truck several times...just to look at it. Congrats on the new buy! Small world!

wow its a small world! haha I'm surprised somebody from here recognizes it, they certainly had it for sale for a long time!

and my plans are to drive the crap out of it, put some chrome smoothie 60's wheels on it drop it a bad put peep mirrors on it and that's about it for now, other than keeping it clean!

That is a very nice '66

As much as I love the '60-'66's I can see that the decision to sell your '86 was a tough one. That was a very nice truck as well.

Yeah...I've seen that truck up there for a while. He's got a lot of nice classics at both of his car lots.
