I've looked at it before, and I think it'll fit under the hood, but the problem may be the clearance from the snout of the blower to the radiator. If it's a sbc, you'll probably have to move the motor and trans backward to get the room.

yep. remember a guy can use a dropped filter base if there is clearance issues.
