They will when they open my hood and my 12 gauge comes out my front door. I don't want the shock sensors due to them going off all the time. That is why I am using sensors that trip when you open them

depending on the year of the truck, later models had provisions for pin switches in the door jam. you simply install a pin switch (not unlike the one you got for your hood) and run a wire to the negative door trigger wire on your viper, there should be both positive and negative trigger wire, plus an 'instant trigger' wire. if your truck is an earlier version, then you could do magnetic switches in the door jam, potentiall putting the sensor inside the door jam, and installing a magnet on the door, or vice versa. I've never really looked, but there might be a way to rig up a pin switch on early door jams, where there's a will there's a way I suppose. hope that helps somewhat.
