anyone know if these are on the market?
my upper backing plate is stripped, i dont have the tools readily available to fab one and gettin one from a junk yard would be a pain because of having to cut an access hole. anyone know if these are on the market? also thought about welding nuts on the back side of the plate but would rather buy new then deal with it.

Is that the backing plate for the hinge? I happen to have a scrap cab sitting in my drive way. If its what i think it is ill cut them out and mail them. you have any better pictures? and what i have is a 69 cab.

I have drilled and tapped them for slightly larger bolts. Just an idea

As I have told other members a Keensert is a workable repair for the threads. But for all three, replacement seems best.

yeah, its for the upper drivers side door hinge. that would be awesome if i could get that from ya. be happy to float ya a lil $ for it. im also looking for a pair of backing plates for the door strikers. i havent been able to find these on the market either.
i thought about drilling and tapping the plate but i need all the adjustment i can get plus more to line up my body panels. i think the slightly bigger bolts will hurt me.
