What kind of pulley is this?
I have never seen a crank pulley like I have on my truck. Can anyone tell me if this is stock or what??? Any help appreciated.
I am planning to put A/C on the truck (still deciding which kit to use).

Re: What kind of pulley is this?
It's actually a two piece unit.
The one closest to the engine is stamped steel, and it's just a single groove model. The one closest to the radiator is of cast iron, and from my experience has been added for AC or other stuff. I have one just like it, but I have the two groove stamped steel pulley.

Re: What kind of pulley is this?
Wow Vectorit....that was FAST! Thanks for the info. I'm guessing, based on your response that if I got a two groove stamped pulley to replace the single, I could then use the middle groove for an A/C compressor and then I could still use the bolt on inner groove for my PS pump.

Re: What kind of pulley is this?
I have that pulley on my factory AC truck with a 350 and PS. My water pump pulley has 3 grooves though.

Re: What kind of pulley is this?
I had the same set up, and when I put in AC I replaced the single groove pulley with a two groove, and put back the other two groove that I already had, so I had four grooves.
One closest to the block is alternator, then AC, then unused, and then PS

Re: What kind of pulley is this?
Are you looking for the single groove stamped pulley? I have one that I took off my engine.

Re: What kind of pulley is this?
Old threads have a lot of good info in them. I like seeing them resurrected now and again.
