Carburators

I bought these carburators when I was trying to figure out why my truck wasn't running.

I have three one barrel Rochester Carbs. One I put on my truck and it ran the same as the one I rebuilt. It probably needs rebuilt just because it's cheap to rebuilt it (the base is broken on that one too). The other two I haven't done anything with and they look like they will need rebuilt just due to their appearance.

I'll post a picture of each of them and if you would like more pictures I can send them via email so we don't use up the forum's storage.

I'm trying to get around $40 shipped for each carb, but make me an offer if you don't think that's fair.

Re: Carburators

What model carbs are these? Do they all have a broke base or just the one that you bolted on? Did the truck run with the carb on it? Thanks, Dustin

The one with the broken base is the same model that was on my 250 and I'm guessing is the stock model for the 68 250s. Besides that I don't know anymore about that carb. The other two look the same but have minor differences then the one with the broken base. If you can tell me how to identify them specifically I'll take a look at them and let you know.

I put the non-broken base from my original carb on the one with the broken base and installed it on my truck and it ran the same as the rebuilt one. That convinced me that the carb was not my engine's issue.

Re: Carburators

On the bottom of the fuel bowl there is a circle. Within the circle there are numbers, I believe those numbers are the model number (ex 7024561).

Thank you.

Re: Carburators

I know, thanks. Doesn't seem like anything will sell lately unless you just give itaway .

I know I still have the last one pictured above and it needs rebuilt. I'll let you know later about the other two later today to see if my friend sold them already. Thanks
