6 lug rallys???

Alright what the %#@&*?%^$ is going on here I just got a set of 6 lug rallys 15x8s. I took them out of the box to do a test fit on my front 4wd hub and the thing wont even go over the spindle assy what gives? the front end came off of my 70 K10 it is a D44 with disc brakes I am not sure of the year but understand that it has to be at least a 71 for the disc brakes. The center of the wheels is too small. I really wanted to use the rallys because I like the look.???

Re: 6 lug rallys???

OK I had to take off to Costco for awhile here is what I found. The center hole in the wheel is exactly 3 1/2"s the hub dia. is exactly 3 1/2"s looks like I have to open up the centers of the wheels a tad.

Re: 6 lug rallys???

I'm not sure this would matter but maybe these were rallys from a newer truck?

Re: 6 lug rallys???

the rally wheels weren't even offered till later, but it is a stock 1/2 ton 4x4 setup. I have seen so many trucks with them on it really shouldn't matter any way, it looks like I need to open up the centers just a very little bit to make them work. its just odd that I have this kind of issue.
here is a pic or two.
