71 Super Cheyenne
Hello out there,
I just bought a 71 super cheyenne fleetside longbed and am pretty excited about it! These forums are pretty new to me also, but i've seen quite a few threads with really good info ever since i got the truck. Of course as soon as you get a cool ride the first thing you want to do is start to fixing it up! I just wanted to say hi, and jump into the mix! Hope all is well with everyone in classic truck world, yall have a good one! |

Re: 71 Super Cheyenne
First thing is first, I'm going to need to get the engine figured out. The previous owner said the engine was not the original but from a monte carlo. It almost made it home but not quite, had to tow it the last half of the way. I'm really interested in going back to an original restore, I really appreciate the original look of these trucks. Not sure if a crate 350 is the way to go or finding an original and getting that rebuilt. Looking forward to getting the money together to get things going! I'll get a few more pics on just as soon as I can.
