4500/205 parts are here!
Christmas came early. Got my 93 4500 today. #s on the tag are :GXC-4500C, 10-3-92.
Started doing the mockup with my NOS 205. I am now sure about the long vs short input. As expected I need the AA adapter (more like a spacer- it's just a ring about 1.6 inches thick). The trans is a beast compared to the old 465 ![]() Last edited by SunSoaked; 12-22-2012 at 11:07 PM. |

Re: 4500/205 parts are here!
It came with a new (about 200 miles) clutch, its factory GM. I'll use the oem bellhousing for mockup (I'm down to a bare frame at the moment) and use the AA bell with the arm on the D/S for final install. I'm going to move the eng/trans fwd a few inches. Now I'm looking for a new or good used 32 spline front output for the t-case.
