If interested we sell complete remanufactured to new condition truck tilts with all new internal parts and exterior levers painted black columns. You will find them on the following page http://www.gmcpaulstruckparts.com/steering2.htm
If you want used any 69-72 tilt column from a truck will work, you can also use 70's Van columns that are tilt but will require the pin in collapsing shaft to be drilled out to allow shaft to collapse further and will require the relocation of the neutral safety switch on column as in present location it will hit bottom of dash mounting area, also requires a adapter from flat connector to a semi-round connector for wiring. GMCPaul PS- Plus most used columns need rebuilt with new switches, bearings & bushings. ------------------ Online Catalog for-GMCPauls Truck Parts.com 67 LWB GMC SuperCustom Fleetside 67 LWB GMC Stepside 67 SWB GMC Stepside 67 SWB GMC Fleetside 67 SWB Chevy CST Fleetside 67 LWB Chevy CST Fleet 67 SWB Chevy Stepside 67 LWB Chevy Stepside 68 2wd Chevy 1/2 t. You can get a little bit of leeway with the neutral safety switch on a van-tilt column. However, I had to hacksaw about 3/4" of one end off because the brake pedal arm was hitting it, lol. I also used all my old wiring from the stock column. All in all, if you can pick up a tilt column in decent shape for 50 bucks at the bone yard (like I did)its well worth the effort.
