Seat replacement - donor vehicle

What to replace the OE seat of my 71' as a part of it's restoration. I see some really nice modern seats in some of these trucks. Are their any donor vehicles that are better to use (meaning easier to install in my truck). Would like to have bucket seats with console if possible. Thanks

Need to be very aware that if your truck was not built with bucket seats it does not have the floor pan reinforcements for the bucket seats/inner tracks. Also the current mounting points are not designed for the loads integral shoulder harnesses impose if you decide to go that route. We put a lot of bucket seat info together here in this thread about adding buckets.

'99-'06 Chevy/GMC seats work well.

Pulled out the crap Ram bench that was in it and replaced with '06 Silverado 40/20/40 seats.
