AD truck power steering brackets

I apologize for bringing up this subject again as it is the veritable dead horse. I have a 49 3100 in which I have installed the steering box and everything needed to make the wheels turn. I have read everything I can find about steering pump brackets, but I don't recall seeing any pictures of power steering set up in an AD truck. I bought the Davis speed brackets, but the pump hits the inner fender with that. I bought what was supposed to be original brackets for the 250, but the bolt arrangement is wrong for my engine.
So--- has anyone seen power steering set up in one of these trucks using the original brackets. I'm sure I can modify the Davis brackets if I have to.

Re: AD truck power steering brackets

Heres a couple of way of doing it. I am going this route with my 46 and it looks like it's goint to just clear the inner fender panels.

Re: AD truck power steering brackets

I've got a factory 74 Pontiac 250 six cylinder alternator/power steering bracket in the 48 and it should keep both alternator (mounted low) and pump in far enough to clear the inner fender although I took the pump off when I put it in the 48 23 years ago. It' too cold and wet to go out and take a photo now though.

The picture you posted looks like the DavisEngineering with type 2 pump. I seriously doubt that set up will fit. I will peobably go for the one on EBay which is the original bracket. Thanks for your info.
