Someone broke into my truck. Need to find a new Silverado instrument bezel.

Someone broke into my friend's garage where I was keeping my truck. Stole the speakers, amp, tool set, and 5" tach. Destroyed the dash in the process and didn't even take the radio. This is the first time I've had this happen to me. Needless to say, I am livid. If anyone could tell me where a good place to go for a wood grain 1977 Silverado instrument bezel would be, I would definitely appreciate it.

Re: Someone broke into my truck. Need to find a new Silverado instrument bezel.

Thanks man. Need one with woodgrain though. And I know it's not just a part I can order from LMC. Had a nice original one in there and as you can see in the picture, yeah. That was easily the part that pissed me off the most. It was a total hackjob. If they would have just taken the deck out I would have been much happier than having my dash destroyed for no apparent reason.

Re: Someone broke into my truck. Need to find a new Silverado instrument bezel.

I think the breakdown for gauge bezels is 73-74, 75-77, and 78-80. Currently trying to find a replacement woodgrain 75-77 one online and becoming more angry about my truck getting broken into.

I'm really sorry to hear of your misfortune CobraJetKid. I hate to say it, but your not going to find an aftermarket replacement for the correct woodgrain bezel. As far as I know, that is an item that has not been reproduced.

Guys this wasnt started as a "wanted to Buy" post, so lets not turn it in to one.

If it ain't broke, there is still probably room for improvement.

Speed costs money, how fast do you want to go?
