Re: wtb ac firewall

How much of the firewall do you need? I have this cab that I am cutting apart. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=511264 I am not sure how bad the shipping would be. Can you give me a picture of how much you are wanting. Thanks

Here is a pic i borrowed online. Basicly just need the part around the AC box. Wanting to convert my Non-ac cab to an AC cab. have most all AC parts already. Id love a template of the AC vent holes if it isnt much trouble as well. the chunk of firewall i need should not be too terribly bad in shipping costs i wouldnt think.

I will take a look tomorrow. How would I make templates of the dash? Cardboard? I have a 72 a/c dash still in the truck.

Re: wtb ac firewall

Some pics of my conversion-
I used poster paper.Laid it against the blue a/c firewall and used plywood to hold it there. Then traced the holes from the inside.
Carefully cut out the holes, laid it on the gold non-a/c firewall and traced the new holes.
Hope this helps some!

Re: wtb ac firewall

Here are a few pictures of the one I have. That is just a dark spot in picture 3, not a rust hole. You can check with budnikguy if you want because it is going to be a little while before I can do anything. I was not able to get anything cut today, I will be busy with family tomorrow and they are calling for 6 to 12 inches of snow tomorrow night and Wednesday. If that happens it will be next weekend before I could get it cut apart and anything done. What ever you want to do just let me know. Thanks
