Door logo
I have a 1970 Suburban 3 door. It is sort of the copper/burnt orange color and white. It is BB 402 auto 2wd, PS,PB (drums). I wanted to call it the beast but my kids said that is already the dogs nickname, so we call him Rusty, partly due to the color but largely due to the amount of rust. Truck seems pretty original but looks like somebody probably left him in a field or back yard for many years and he has some pretty bad cancer, allthe way through fenders, floors, rockers , roof, and spare tire well.
I decided that he is pretty far gone so going to try to clean up whats left, do some maintenance to get him running and stopping a little better. I want to make a "rat rod" style. Leave the rust and the ugly, drop it 2-4" use truck rallys with some minor custom tricks, stuff as much tire as I can underneath. But I want to make a mock logo for the door. I can get the magnets and stick on stuff but prefer to get a stencil and airbrush in the logo, the scuff it up and artificially age it to make it look like it could be original to the year. I was thinking of "Rusty's Speed Shop" or "Rusty's Garage" in a vintage style circular logo. Does anyone of know of a place where I can get that made? I have a friend who will help with setting up the logo. I am going to keep it pretty simple to not get too expensive. I have tried multiple searches and keep coming up we design firms, do it yourself logo creator. or custom car wraps but not anything like I was thinking. Hopefullly my pic will attach. |
