On the LMC replacement ones, has anyone ever put in the raised chrome trim on them? Not the actual outside that goes on the door panel but the raised trim that is actually in the woodgrain insert

No, as that chrome strip you see in the originals, is molded (raised) into the originals. You would probably destroy the plastic ones if you tried. Trevor
