Re: Factory Diesels

My 6.5 isn't completely stock i bought it without a bed so I am putting on the flatbed in the picture, and the black one being loaded on the trailer used to be a stock 6.5 until my dad sold the motor and tranny now its just a parts truck

4 diesels/no camera? Or,just don't take pictures of your stuff. I never used to. Some I've owned I have no pictures and others maybe 1 or 2.

That white DRW looks pretty stock to me. Was it originally a pickup or a cab & chassis? I don't care if they're stock or modified. Just curious to see other members' 88-98 6.2,6.5,and 6.5TDs. I had an '84 6.2 with the full Banks treatment and GV overdrive. I started reading about the 6.5TD coming out and these newer design trucks had started proving themselves from what I had seen for the five years they were out. By '92 my business was rolling and my youngest son had been born,so I figured it was time to order my ideal truck, for the first (and only) time. I always built older trucks to suit me and this time I let GM do it. I've been in the cockpit for nearly 21 years now and still enjoy it as much as when new.

Here's a little video I did coming out of my valley up to the main road one foggy morning a couple weeks ago:

Re: Factory Diesels

I usually only take pictures if I'm selling or if I'm working on something.

Re: Factory Diesels

I had a '95 K3500 6.5TD/5spd for a while. I put a Reading low-profile utility bed on it,painted it,and about built it all over again...then had an accident that totalled it!

Re: Factory Diesels

Hello all,

Here are a few pics of my 3500HD. It's an '01, but being an HD, still shares the GMT400 body and 6.5 TD

Here she is with 3 tons of coal in the bed:

Re: Factory Diesels

I'd like to find a 3500HD dump like that. I remember seeing 4wd converted ones listed in The Auto Locator back in 2000-2001 and dreaming. I've never seem one of those since.
Here's more of the '95 with a ladder rack:
