Tonneau Cover For 8' Bed

As my grandfather was going through his garage He found a tonneau cover for an 8' bed that he had bought back in the 80's but never ended up putting it on his truck everything is still like new, and the vinyl is still soft and supple. (He worked for GM for 46 years and still gets a new chevy truck every other year) he told me that by the time he got it and had time to install it he was getting a new truck... This is a snap style with aluminum rails. $125 plus the ride which should be around $30 based on the length and weight to most places...

Re: Tonneau Cover For 8' Bed

Do you still have this for sale?

If so, you mention rails and snaps. Apologies for my ignorance, but do the rails bolt/clamp to the bed and the snaps to the rails?

Also, what color?

Thanks

Yes, still for sale.

I looked it over again. the aluminum rails that mount to the bed are bolted on.
The cover attaches to the rails via Velcro and not snaps as I had first mentioned. For some reason I had it in my mind that they were snaps. The cover is black. Let me know if your interested. Thanks

Re: Tonneau Cover For 8' Bed

Thanks for your reply. I don't mean to be a pest but I have a couple more questions.

1. It is brand new, never used. Correct?

2. Not worried about bolting the rails on, but want to be sure it will fit a 72. Do the rails bolt on top of the bed or inside? You mentioned your grandfather bought it in the 80s. I would appreciate at least your "best guess" on that one.

3. Does it include bows that go across the bed from side to side?

4. Could you take a couple photos and post on the thread?
