ABS Light

I have a 1995 Chevy Silverado 1500 350 motor automatic 4wd ex cab

I would like to know how to reset the abs light.

You might be able to get autoZone or some place like that to read the codes (I believe you should be OBD I ). See what it is/and reset the light.

I have also hear if you disconnect the negative batter terminal for a couple hours, it might reset it.

I ran into the same problem - the code reader that AutoZone had wouldn't read the ABS box. Turned out my ABS box was bad.. couldn't reset the light. Brakes still worked just no ABS.

Read the code yourself.

Do a search and read about the code.

Ask about what you don't understand.
