FS - 72 LWB 4x4 Restored
For sale again for $7500. This truck was restored from the ground up about 6 years ago for approx $15,000 and was used as a daily driver for about 2 years before I bought it and has not seen rain or snow since then. The entire truck is completely rust free and the body is completely straight with only 3 slight blemishes.
The motor is a rebuilt 350 with a mild cam, headers, 650 Edelbrock 4bbl, K&N filter. Motor was rebuilt to use unleaded gas. Transmission is a 4 speed with the Granny gear. Tires are BFG 32" ATs on stock rims. I believe is has a 3" suspension lift. It was build to be driven on the highway. Problems: Needs oil pan gasket and transfer case gasket replaced, air conditioning system was brand new at time of rebuild but has never been charged, heater core is bad and needs to be replaced. I am selling to get more room in my garage. I have babied this truck too much and rarely drive it. I would like to see it go to someone who can fluff her up a bit and get good use out of her. I don't have the time to deal with the E-bay route and hope someone on this board will see the value in getting a "close to show" truck at a price not much higher than I have seen project trucks go for. I can easily take more detailed digital pictures for anyone who is genuinely interested and e-mail them to you. I also have all the paperwork from the rebuild and can try to find specific information as to the motor specifications. My evening e-mail address is lasercharms@cableone.net and phone number is 701-239-9007. The truck is located in Fargo, ND on the Minnesota border. I bought this truck in Kansas, so it is definately worth the trip. |
