Paint off of Chrome
Does anyone know how to safely take paint off of a chrome grill without messing the chrome up?

Re: Paint off of Chrome
If it is chromed metal it's one thing. If it is the chromed plastic it is another. I have removed paint from chromed metal easily with laquer thinner and a soft cloth. Luckily I haven't had to take it from the plastic.

Re: Paint off of Chrome
Its chromed metal, someone painted the grill on mine and a decient sized chip came off, revealing the chrome.. rubbed it with my finger and shined right up, I want to take it off and get back to the chrome from black.. someone told me aircraft stripper, but I dont want the chrome getting effed up.
