1964 Front End Question

Hi guys, there is a little part of the front end of my panel that is mangled. How do I remove that lower part to replace it? what is that part called? I hope It not too crazy to replace that. Thanks guys.

It is all one part of the part above your Grill....it bolts to your core support

If you aren't wanting to do any cutting and welding, you will have to replace the whole grill panel. That is one piece between the fenders, and between the bumper and the hood.

Make sure you get one that will fit your 64, I thought they were all the same. I bought one at a swap meet and found out it was off a 62? The notches above the frame were really tight for my 66 GMC. I got it on but it is touching the frame horns.

If that's the only damage, I'd remove the bumper and fix it.

1963 is actually different. 1964-66 are the same. 1963 will physically bolt in, but the grill mounting holes are different.
