radio delete
Does anyone know if GM made a factory radio delete for these trucks?? Like a 87 dash style did they make a delete plate for it ???

yes they did it was used on alot of police and utility trucks as well as military trucks

I've only seen one, in a junk yard about 15 years ago but I think it was for the 73-80 dash bezel. you can go to a quality sterio store and buy a small piece of material that looks like the original dash cut it to fit and glue it in place.

A neighbour had a stripper 76 C10. Light blue, straight 6, three on the tree, heater, and rear view mirror.

I was trolling through a scrap yard the other day and lying in the back of a truck bed was a broken dash bezel, with this nice radio delete plate still bolted on. I couldn't just leave it there, so I took it off and stuck it in my tool bag. I had never seen one up until then. I did a search on it and found this post.
I put it on my 86 bezel and it must be for a diffrent year cause it partially covers the upper right mounting hole |

I think I have the one you need. Thats for an older model 73-80 I believe due to the leather grain look. There is another that looks like sand paper texture and the last one looks like this one...kinda checkered texture.
