Bucket seat question

What is the difference (if any) between truck bucket seats and blazer bucket seats?
Also, differences in the consoles, seat belts, anything else?
Thank you.

Re: Bucket seat question

Nothing, other than the passenger mounting brackets. The blazers also had plastic covers on the backs.

Re: Bucket seat question

If you are planning on adding bucket seats as I suspect, here is a lot of good reading on the subject. Don't forget the floor reinforcements.

Re: Bucket seat question

As noted above for the seats.

To answer the other 2 questions...
The consoles are the same, but I believe the Blazer belts are different, at least on the outboard belts. Those I've seen mount to the floor differently and do not utilize the truck style boots over the retractors.

I think its just the passenger side so you could get in and out of the back with the seat flipped forward. I believe the driver side is the same as a truck.
