Stepper to fleetside swap

I have a couple of questions about swapping swb fleetside bed onto a truck that had a swb stepside. I am thinking it should be an easy swap and just bolt right up. Is that correct?

Also, the truck is a 1966 custom cab with a bbw. Once the fleetside bed is on I would need to add the side trim. Is a fleetside bed the same whether it is a custom cab or base model or are there some differences?

Thanks,
Mike

Re: Stepper to fleetside swap

Fleetside will bolt up. I think the Base model trucks didnt have the trim, so you would need to drill bedsides for trim or some guys are using 3M sticky tape for the trim install instead of drilling.
