Casting and suffix #s

The vin decodes to show my truck w/ a 305 I'm not sure if the po had a motor swapped in. The casting # is3970010 and the suffix shows 430800 the 4 could be a J I'm not sure. The truck is a 84 swb 4x4. Thanks in advance for the help guys.

Sounds like someone swapped in a 350 my truck is the same way originally 305 someone swapped engines at some point
