Working AM/FM radio

This is a real truck AM/FM radio that is in working condition! All fuction work as they are suppose to. Slides from AM to FM smoothly, all presets buttons operate correctly, volume control works, and treble bass works. It works on both AM and FM bands. Now for the bad, someone has cut in back of the mounting knobs with a hach saw on both sides, I guess to make it fit into there vehicle. Once it is mounted into your truck it should not show. It also has the wrong lens that is siliconed into place and the slide from AM/FM has been siliconed back together but is operating as it should. The chrome has normal pitting. $275 shipped

Re: Working AM/FM radio

Interested but trying to see the cuts - where are these in the photos? Is the chassis of the radio cut? Thanks, Pete

Re: Working AM/FM radio

Les if the cuts are just to the top front corners and the slide bar is intact i.e in one piece (you said siliconed back together) I'll take it. Pete

In the last 2 pictures I tried to show where the cut was. The cut is on the face plate only directly behind the volume knob and the station set knob

Re: Working AM/FM radio

I see the cuts - If the slider bar isn't broken I'll take it. Do you happen to have mounting hardware to include?

There are 2 tabs on the back of the slide bar and 1 was broken off and that is why it was siliconed back together. You can buy new slide bars and lenses after market. Let me know if you still want the radio, thanks Les

I'll take it Les, thanks. Can you include the knobs as shown? The lenses are discontinued and not too easy to find but slide bars are available. Pete
