The bed was already in place by the PO. This is the current condition of the truck and the way I purchased it. the plan is to do a complete body off, switch the chassis to the rear coil (the current has leafs) go to a 700r4 utilizing the 3.73 Posi rear end, going to decide between the two cabs (70 OEM A/C, or 68 OEM non A/C and install a vintage air system and a/c ducts from billet specialties)

Looks great. Portales is a wild place. My wife and her family used to live in Roswell, and my crazy sister-in-law lived in Portales. Driven through many a times. Next time we're down, I'll stop by, if that's okay.

Your right Portales is a Crazy Place! The Air Force Brought me here (Cannon AFB), I have since retired and am now working for the City as the Director, Information Technology (Network Engineer). I was born and raised in San Diego CA, will head back eventually Call if your in town! I have an EX-Wife that came out of Dixon, NE.
