Wtb: Barden style rear bumper

i'm looking for something heavy and solid. a dealer option bumper. the 10"-12" deep style. within 5-6 hours of detroit. i see one in CA but shipping would be crazy.
maybe someone has a take off from their project? i know most guys just scrap them. thanks

Re: Wtb: Barden style rear bumper

i would have you ship it but i'm sure i could build my own for the cost of the Truck Freight. anything over 100 pounds gets rediculous. BTW: thanks for the offer!

Re: Wtb: Barden style rear bumper

I hear you. It's god-awful heavy. I hate just having to drag it around to move it.

Re: Wtb: Barden style rear bumper

thats a beefy thing. interesting how they mounted the original back up lights on the bumper.

but i was hoping to find something a wee bit closer than Louisana.
a radius from Chicago to Indy to Dayton to Cleveland...all of Michigan (da U.P. too, eh?)

The back-up lights were just screwed on the bumper. After all the nice work to cut down the bed and nicely modify the bed sides and just screw the lights to the bumper? I didnt understand the thought process of it. In its day, it was a nice truck.

Re: Wtb: Barden style rear bumper

wow, thanks! it looks pretty nice in the pics, but it doesnt belong on a truck as nice as yours. i may be coming your way fairly soon to see about some doors.
on a side note, do you have a hood now? i need something i can cut the front edge off of and not cry about it while i'm doing it.
