gas gauge electrical ?
Hi folks, started the rebuilding project of my 1972/1967/1969 C10 short step-side this winter. Dropped the rear 5", front 3", cut out the cancer and put in new sheetmetal. Keeping it simple and straight forward. Thinking I would like to use the large fuel gauge in the normal position (upper right side of bezel) and realized I cut the ribbon to the gauge to fit the tach and other after market gauges in the original bezel.
How can I run the original large fuel gauge without the electrical ribbon ? Thanks for your replies. |

Re: gas gauge electrical ?
Just bypass the circuit board and route your own wires. You can even follow the wiring to the spots on the gauge connector so you wouldn't need a schematic. You'd have to splice into the wiring somewhere though.
