These back up camera kits come complete with everything you need to install! The monitor features a full color 4.3" (4:3 aspect ratio; wide screen) LED back lit monitor, with a good picture quality. You can set the system up to automatically turn on when shifting into reverse, and will automatically turn off when you shift out reverse. Installation is very simple, and the kit comes with complete easy to follow directions. This is not your run of the mill back up camera kit like you find at a local parts store, this is a high quality, performing, and attractive looking kit.

The camera for the kit is a license plate mount, so there is no need to drill any holes in the back end of your truck. The camera features a 135 degree viewing angle, as well as 7 IR (infrared) LED's for optimal performance in low light conditions at night. The camera's mounting bracket has a 60 degree pivot point, so the camera will work no matter if your truck is lowered, stock height or lifted. The monitor can be adapted to fit almost any interior, and can easily be flush mounted in a dash pocket, center console, or even an overhead console!

These are truly a nice addition to any truck, a back up camera not only makes it easier backing up to a trailer but also give you a major increase in safety by reducing and/or eliminating the huge blind-spot our trucks have behind us! THANKS, The monitor also shows grid lines on it to tell you the distance, we also have some different cameras than the license plate one.

Can this be setup to run 100% of the time while driving? I am looking for this for my Dodge truck with a camper on. It has a major blind spots and I have been looking at systems.

Also, what's the actual size of the monitor and can longer cables be had? My Dodge is a Club Cab, long bed so not sure if 20' would reach.

Yes it can run 100% of the time. The monitor veiwing area is 4.3 inches, can also supply a 7 inch, a little more money. The cables are standard RCA cables
which can be gotten in any electronics store, so any length is possible.

There is several cameras available, do you want one bumper level or on the top of the roof line? I my self perfer the camera on the roof line for a RV.

Thanks for the reply David. As for size, I really need the width x height measurements of the actual display. I am dealing with limited space so I need to make sure the whole thing will fit, not just the screen size. Good to know they are standard RCA cables.

Do you have any pics of the roof line camera? Ideally this is what I would like to go with but not 100% sure if I can as I need to be able to remove the camper so wiring will be an issue. Curious to see what the camera looks like.

HI Mike,
The size of the actual display is 4 3/4 wide x 3 inches high. Only 1 RCA cable
goes to the front from the rear camera, so you could use a couple RCA cables
and unplug it when you remove the camper.

The camera hot wire and negative wire hooks up to your rear lights for power. The front monitor you can hook up to any hot wire that goes off with the key.
So there is not a hot wire running front to rear, only a video RCA cable.
If you would like we could make all the wiring to your measurments, so you could unplug it in about 30 seconds to remove the camper.

I will post the top mount camera in a few hours, have to take the pictures.

The price is differant as this is the comerical model with 18 individual infrared LED'S for better clarity in low light, with a heavy duty waterproof case, and wide angle lens.
