offset question?

I got a buddy whose puttin together a 87 chevy for his dad....he's finished the LS swap, had it painted, and just finished the interior....now he is ready to order the billet wheels and needs alittle offset/backspacing help....he wants to stay with a 17x8/17x10 combo in either Intro's or Billet specialties.....doesnt want them stickin out past the fenders but wants a full fenderwell....any help guys?

This is a truck we saw at Turkey Rod Run but couldnt find owner....he wants it close to this look but in a 17 instead of 18
