Re: How about some pics of Static dropped 60-66

My 1965 C10 static dropped. 2 coils off the front. 4" blocks and 1 coil off the rear. About to be bagged in a couple of months. Stuff is in the mail.

Just asking, when you cut the rear coil what holds the spring in place? When I got my truck the PO cut the rears and it bounced all over the place and the coils didn't have a pocket or clip to hold them

Hey Trs, same thing happened with my 63. PO chopped the back coils and the frame just rests on them now instead of being attached to the clamps. Not that that answers your question, but I thought you might like to know that there are more of us back end bouncers out here.
