I know, these wouldnt fit on my truck.. but how could i get them to work? i really like these wheels.. anyone have a picture of a 73-87 with these wheels?

They fit on the 88+ with adapters...Im sure you could make them fit somehow.

I believe Vette wheels have a 5 on 5 BP, same as our trucks. They should bolt right up (unless I am wrong

Nope! Corvettes are car pattern too. 5" x 4.75"

Vette wheels are 4 3/4 diameter with 5 studs. and trucks are 5 diameter on 5 studs.
But with money about anything is possible. Any good machine shop can redrill and install new studs for about any diameter and number of studs. Money can grant many wishes.....

haha, your stealing my idea, lol. i've been thinkging about getting a set of vette turbine wheels for mine. what you will need is a custom made steal adapter/spacer. for one this the offset is all wrong on those wheels and they will sit too far in so the spacer will need to be a couple inches thick to push the wheels out (do your own measuring to figure out thick) and the spacer can be made to change your bolt pattern from 5x5 and adapt it to 5x4.75. make sure you get steel ones not aluminum. and expect to pay 150 or 200 or more for the spacers.

This seems entirely like too much trouble to me. Besides, I don't like the idea of a 2" adapter behind my wheels.

Are these wheels strong enough to support the weight of a truck? I believe a vette weighs a good bit less than a truck.

That black one up there looks great. IM not sure what ours would look like with them but I have always loved them on those trucks. Ever since I saw it in Days of Thunder before he test drives teh first car.

the vette wheels shouldn't have a problem with a 1/2 ton swb. i wouldn't put them on a big truck that your gonna be carrying huge loads in or anything. and there is nothing wrong with running adapter/spacers if you are using the corret ones.

check some of your local custom wheel places. not the big chain stores. they will likeley have done this before and can order them in the right size for you. the set i used to have i bought from my friend and this is how he got them.
