Lowering with headers

Im running, what I think are stock headers on my 350, my question is how far can i go? Is there some type of replacement headers for lowered trucks? Here my truck right now.

Thanks

i'd say you'll have no problems with your current setup and a 3/5 as long as you're careful. talk to Low 84 about headers. he found some shorties for a malibu or something that worked out well. not sure of a part number or a specific application.

I jsut did a 3/5 drop on my truck...and I still got PLENTY of room under then to go another 3 or 4 lol. And I got Full length. A 3/5 drop will give u no problems..Unless u go totally insane over speed bumps lol.

Drive anywhere in my town and you would trash your headers. We have the worst roads i have ever seen. Giant pot holes and about 10,000 houses with curbs that were built too steep. Then there are the speed bumps by Zellers! my mom cant go over them in her Dodge Caravan! Yeah so if you have good roads you shouldnt have any problems!

Full length Hooker headers and a 4" drop here...no problems at all.

Your exhaust does hang down pretty low though. Mine was tucked up more than that.

Got JBA shorties and have no probs at all now, hell the tranny would hit before the exhaust lol
