trucks in movies part 6

check out "The Getaway" with Steve McQueen, I don't think I've ever seen a movie with so many 67 72 chevy gmc trucks, tons everywhere.

"Take this Job and Shove it" has a cool 67 68 and a sweet mid 70's 4X4

I may have mentioned this one already, "The Driver" with Ryan Oneil has a few shots of 67 72 and one bad ass mid 70's step.

one thing I hate about sweet home alabama is the sound effect they used when the door shuts on the cab, Im sorry that is not the right 67-72 door latching sound. only people like us would notice anyways

I'd put up with the puke to have a drunk Reese Witherspoon in my truck...

I liked the fact that the truck was not some mint restored truck but a used and abused work truck...

The only part of the movie that bothered me was that the whole time that Jake and the yankee fella are driving in the truck the thing is in "Park"...look at the shots through the windshield...

Anybody seen Lonestar State of Mind? Watched it on Direct TV a couple of nights ago. Earl drives a 72 lwb all during the movie. It's a pretty good movie also (funny)

If I remember right, I think there are quite a few in the begining of GOONIES, after the jail break, and "MA" takes the jeep on the beach.

Check out Matthew Good's new video Gravedigger. It has quite a few shots of a GMC . Just saw it last night. And the song is pretty damn good too

Ya at least in all those movies they don't beat them up like in Terminator 3, Arnold crashes a 4x4 into a building
doesn't appear to do a whole lot of damage though...

actually still looks better than some of my trucks

Hey Dubie, don't you mean Dave Mathews. He is the one who sings Gravedigger. "when you dig my grave, could you make it shallow, so that I can feel the rain.....Gravedigger" Is that the song?
